My Journey in Graphic Design
Hi, I’m Hadashah, a graphic design student from Montreal. I’m a second year Graphic Design student in Montreal at John Abbott College, and this is where I share my creative side. You’ll find my work, ideas and a peek into what I’m learning along the way.
Art runs in my family. Everyone has a creative streak, but I’m the one who actually turned it into a career path. Drawing and painting is where it all started for me, design gave me a way to bring those skills into the real world.
Outside of class, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen. Baking sweet treats is my favorite way to unwind and it’s a creative outlet too since a good dessert is really just design you can eat. If there’s a basketball game on, I’m probably watching that too.
Expect a mix of design projects, sketches and paintings, and the occasional baking experiment. I’ll also share what I’m learning in school, the things that go well, and the things that don’t. Every project teaches me something, and I’d rather share the whole process than only the finished result.
I’m the kind of person who likes to help, whether that’s giving feedback on a friend’s project or sharing what I’ve figured out. After I graduate, I’d love to study business and combine my design background with the skills to build something of my own.
I love hearing from other creatives, students, and fellow bakers. If you have a question, a project idea, or a favorite recipe to share, leave a comment or send me a message. Your feedback helps me grow as a designer, and I’d love to see what you’re working on too.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that inspires you.
